IJW Whiskey
Packaging and label design for IJW whiskey using AI to explore various themes for packaging and bottle design.
From there, I developed the bottle and label designs to fully bring each concept to life.
This first fictional concept, Summit Reserve, features a bottle designed to resemble a frozen, hollowed-out block of ice filled with whiskey. The label captures the rugged beauty of frost-kissed landscapes, while the whiskey’s deep, rich amber glow contrasts with the crystalline exterior—inviting warmth against the cold.

The second fictional concept is presented in a rustic, pitted glass bottle, crafted in the shape of a classic flask. The label design draws inspiration from Prohibition-era moonshiners and the spirit of the frontier with a hand written letter and map, telling the tale of Timberwoolf Whiskey. The design is elevated with a copper cap and collar, inspired by traditional whiskey distillation equipment. The collar is further distinguished by an embossed timberwolf relief adding an extra branding detail.

The third fictional concept showcases a frosted glass bottle etched with a limestone pattern, echoing the ancient, fossil-rich bedrock that helps define Kentucky’s whiskey heritage. The Kentucky Bedrock Limestone Spirits label is designed for a tiered collection that evolves across silver, copper, and gold editions, each representing a distinct aging process and refinement level.

This brand activation zone is designed to transform an ordinary space into a living expression of the brand—one that invites exploration, sparks conversation, and fuels social sharing. Inside a 12-foot sculptural barrel lies an immersive 360° photo booth that surrounds guests with rich, branded cinematic visuals on a digital screen: golden whiskey in fluid motion, flames dancing across oak, the stoic drama of a rickhouse. It’s indulgent, atmospheric, and unforgettable.

As guests step inside, they become the star of the show. Flashes pop, lights pulse, and the space comes alive with the energy of a glamorous, paparazzi-style experience—where every moment feels exclusive, elevated, and effortlessly cool. Brand ambassadors would be on hand to assist and distribute shareable, branded digital content.

The experience could also be built for agility by mounting it on a custom trailer designed to travel between high-profile events like the Kentucky Derby and major music festivals. At each stop, the content and ambiance can flex to reflect the energy of the event (the pulse of a trackside view, etc.) — while remaining true to the brand aesthetic.
